[>] You find yourself walking next to the facade of Daguanyan.
[>] You suddenly stop yourself, standing on your tiptoes to see if you can get a better view inside the palace grounds.
[>] It’s not difficult to, as over the short palace walls, dozens of tall buildings decorated with intricate designs pierce the City’s skies, stretching on for what appears to be eternity.
[>] Intrigued, you continue making your way towards the entrance of Daguanyan.

[>] Before you can approach your destination, a tall, shadowed figure looms near the entrance.
[>] He doesn’t seem to be a threat, yet his mere presence causes you to raise an eyebrow in worry.
[>] Maybe he knows more about this place than you do?…

[>] You cautiously walk toward the man, your eyebrow still raised.
[>] Your eyebrow suddenly relaxes once you come up to him. It was as if it were an instinctive reflex.
[>] You go out of your way to introduce yourself, though the man says nothing to acquaint himself with you.
[>] A deafening silence lingers in the air due to his lack of a response. Even so, he acknowledges your presence as you do his.
[>] A certain feeling in your body compels you to continue on.

[>] You now politely ask for his name. A growing curiosity is getting the better of you.
[>] The curiosity growing in you subsides like a receding wave as you now see the man looking at you with eyes that conceal their abstruseness.
[>] The man shows some hesitation. With a few steps forward that nearly throw you off your feet followed by a slight, gentle bow, he introduces himself as “Jia Qiu”.
[>] It takes a moment for you to properly pronounce his name under your breath. You tell him that his name sounds nice.
[>] The mysterious man, now known by you as Jia Qiu, thanks you in a deep, booming voice.
[>] You ask him about the palace he’s standing next to, which in turn initiates a long, long conversation about the history of these various buildings.
